WIsconsin and Minnestoa Bowfishing Charters

2011 Spring will mark the start of our new Bowfishing Charter Service.  We will be offering trips on the Mississippi River, in Pools 6, and 7 which also includes Lake Onalaska, along with other pools as needed or requested. 

All Rough Fish are fair game, and most commonly include the Carp, Buffalo, Gar, Suckers, Dog Fish, & Shad,

Since we are a new charter service we are offering some outstanding prices to book your trip earily. 

We will be offering Day and night bowfishing packages, or talk to us and we will customize a package to fit your needs. 

Day trips will be a minimum of 5 hours long and will be availabe for 2-4 people. 

Night trips will be a minimum of 4 hours and will be available for 2-4 people. 

Prices are the same for day or night trips. 

2 People - $125 Per Person

Each Additional Person - $50.00 Up to 4 total. 

We have 2 boats we use. 

First is an 1860AW Tracker Grizzley with pods, powered by a 90 HP Suzuki outboard, and a 101 trolling motor. 

Second is a 1872 Custom Built fan boat.  This boat requires a 2 person crew so it is only used with 4 paying customers. 

 

What is Provided: 

  • Bows - 25-35 lb draw weight Right or Left Handed available - (we need to know ahead of time if there is more than 1 left hander in your group)
  • PFD's
  • Arrows
  • Fish Disposal
  • Lessons on shooting as needed
  • Lots of Fun!

What you need to bring:

  • Warm Cloths for in the boat,
  • A change of cloths you can leave in your car as you will likely get some fish slime on you during the night.
  • Rain Gear - Depending on weather forcast, We do recomend you wear rain bibs through out the trip to keep your cloths cleaner.
  • Fishing License WI or Minnesota license are fine.
  • Mechanics or Batting Gloves to protect your hands
  • Snacks and Refreshments - Sorry NO Beer or Alcohol on board.

You will be given a Briefing before we depart, on safety, Shooting, handling fish and much more. 

We are undergoing US Coast Guard training and will be certified by the time fishing opens in April.
